Ecoventure Summer Day Camp

Ecoventure Day Camp is where adventure and learning come together! Designed for children aged 5–10 years, our nature-based summer camp offers an unforgettable outdoor experience. Through hands-on projects, exciting team challenges, and immersive exploration, campers will build confidence, spark creativity, and develop a deep connection to the natural world. Our days are filled with movement, discovery, and laughter—creating meaningful childhood memories while fostering problem-solving skills and environmental awareness.

Creatures of the Wild

Our Creatures of the Wild stream fosters hands-on learning that deepens children's understanding of wildlife, enhances their problem-solving skills, and nurtures a sense of responsibility for the natural world through activities like building shelters, designing habitats, and tracking animals.

Eco Explorers

Our Eco-Explorers stream empowers children to explore sustainability and environmental stewardship by engaging them in creative, hands-on projects that promote eco-friendly practices and deepen their connection to nature like making recycled paper, creating bird feeders, planting mini greenhouses, experimenting with nature dyes, and investigating ecosystems.

Natures Elements

Our Nature’s Elements stream encourages children to explore and harness the power of natural forces through interactive activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of renewable energy and environmental science. They will harness natural forces through windmills, solar energy, water filtration, seed paper, and weather and plant ID challenges.

A homeschool learning pod is a small, collaborative group of families who come together to educate their children, usually around a particular commonality of interests. It combines the flexibility of homeschooling with the social and academic benefits of group learning, fostering connection, creativity, and responsive education for each child.

Nature-Immersive Homeschool Learning Pod - 3 Session Series

Join us for an immersive springtime exploration in the creeks, woods, and green spaces of Hillside Park in Waterloo! This homeschool learning pod blends nature exploration, environmental sustainability, and hands-on experiences, offering children a rich and engaging outdoor learning experience.

Guided by our experienced Nature Based Leads, children will engage in

Wildlife & Habitat Exploration through observing animal tracks, studying ecosystems, and discovering how creatures adapt to seasonal change.
Sustainability & Eco-Innovation by learning about natural cycles, upcycling materials for creative projects, and developing solutions to protect our environment.
Elements of Nature Experiments through investigating the properties of water, air, and plant life through hands-on science and sensory-based discovery.
Creative Arts in Nature using natural materials to design expressive art pieces and collaborative installations that reflect the beauty of spring.

Through these experiences, children will develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a deeper connection to the environment, while also nurturing their curiosity and creative problem-solving skills!
